Finding ore in Medieval Dynasty is necessary if you want to make tools and weapons that last longer.
To mine ore, you first need to find a cave, and that isn’t always an easy feat.
There are five caves in Medieval Dynasty scattered across the map.
To help you get the most ore that you can, we’ve found all the cave locations for you.
1. Northeast Of Branika
The first cave is one of the easiest, and safest, to find.

You’ll need to head northeast of Branika.
You’ll find the cave opposite of a stream and road.
This safe is relatively safe to get to, and you don’t have any dangerous animals guarding its entrance.
As such, if you’re just starting out and don’t have strong weapons or much health, then this cave is a great starting point to get some ore.
2. South of Lesnika
If you live in the western part of the map, then you might find the cave near Lesnika easier to get to.

This cave can be a bit difficult to find if you miss the dirt road.
As such, the easiest way to get to it is to first travel south down the road from Lesnica.
Keep an eye out for the dirt road that leads deeper into the forests and mountains.
Once you arrive at the cave, you’re going to have to be careful.
It’s guarded by a bear.
It’s possible to sneak around the bear, but you’ll want to be careful exiting.
This cave may not be ideal right out of the gate, but it’s not bad a pick for a second or third trip when you’re running low on ore.
You’ll just need to mind the bear.
3. Northwest Of Hornica
Situated in the middle of the map is the third cave.

You’ll find it northwest of Hornica amid the mountains.
The problem with this particular cave is that it’s guarded by two bears.
Both stick close to the entrance of the cave, too, so it can be difficult to sneak around them.
If you want to enter and exit the cave successfully, then you’ll probably need to kill them.
Taking on one bear is tough, but taking on two bears is usually fatal without the right equipment.
As such, the third cave isn’t ideal for beginners.
You’ll want to come armed with decent weapons.
4. Northeast Of Jezerica
The fourth cave is between cave two and three near Jezerica.

Depending on which way you’re coming from, it’s also easy to miss this cave.
It’s set back a bit from the road.
That said, there aren’t any bears guarding the entrance to this cave.
As such, it’s relatively easy and safe to get to.
You might have to walk through some areas where bears or wolves tend to spawn, but you can avoid them in the future by going around those specific areas.
Because this cave doesn’t have any bears lurking around it’s entrance, this is a great cave for beginners to do some mining.
5. East Of Hornica
The final cave location is to the east of Hornica.

It can be a bit difficult to find this cave, so you’ll want to make use of some landmarks.
Head to the large lake that’s to the east of Hornica.
Then find the southern-most stream and follow it further south.
Eventually, you’ll come to a cave on your left.
Other than a bear lingering around the lake, there isn’t any other dangerous animals lurking around the cave’s entrance.
As such, this cave is also quite safe to mine.
The most dangerous part is getting to it.
How Do You Get Ore in Medieval Dynasty?
If you want to start making copper, bronze, and iron tools and weapons, then you’re going to need the appropriate ore.
The only way to get ore on your own is to visit one of the cave locations described above.
You can also buy ore and ingots from blacksmiths in some of the villages.
Near caves, especially, you can also find barrels or abandoned carts with ore, too.
To mine your own ore, however, you’re going to need a pickaxe and start hacking at the ore in the caves.
If all you have on hand is a stone pickaxe, then you’ll want to craft a few since they’ll break easily.
Eventually, once you have enough points in your Building Technology tree, 5,000 points to be exact, you can unlock the Mine.
The Mine allows you to build an actual mine at one of the cave locations.
You’ll need to travel to the cave in question, then set the mine down by accessing your building menu.
You’ll need 16 logs and 16 planks to build the mine.
Then you can assign workers to work in the mine and extract ore for you.
Conclusion
Mining ore is an important part of helping your village grow and become efficient.
To mine ore, you’re going to need to visit any of the cave locations above.
While you’ll need to start out mining on your own, eventually, you’ll be able to unlock the mine and start automating the process.
