Finding an ideal place to build a city in Wild West Dynasty isn’t easy.
Whether it’s bumpy land, a bunch of structures in the way, or being far from resources, there isn’t that many good options.
That said, we managed to find four locations that could be ideal for your city in Wild West Dynasty.
1. Northeast of Taxation
Far in the northeastern part of the map, around Taxation, there’s a great place for a city.

It has a lot of flat land, comprises a large area, and it’s close to water as well as buffalo.
There’s also a wood mill resource area nearby.
While there’s a lot of flat land worthy to build on, there isn’t much else in the way of resources.
You’re far from a stone or iron resource, so you’ll need to travel a long distance to set those areas up.
It’s also far from Hope and the southern portion of the map in general.
This could be problematic if a lot of story events occur in the southern part of the map.
You’ll have to travel a lot.
Otherwise, the location is ideal for large cities since it’s expansive and it’s easy to build on since it’s flat.
2. Southwest of Hope
At the very bottom of a map is another flat, large, area where you can build a sizable city.
The benefits of this area, besides being large and flat, is that you’re close to a few different resources.
There’s a stone and iron resource area right next door.
There’s also a wooden resource area a bit away, but nothing too far.
The negative aspect of this area is that there are some predators that spawn around.
It’s mainly foxes and boars, so they’re not difficult to get rid of, but they are around.
Otherwise, this is another great location where you can start your first city.
3. Southeast of Hope
Southeast of Hope and slightly to the east, you’ll find another flat, large, area where you can build a city.

It’s similar to the previous city location in that it’s right against the southern portion of the map.
You’re also close to a few resource areas here.
You’re also close to the city of Hope in case you want to do some trading.
One unfortunate aspect of the location is that it is close to a coyote spawn point.
Otherwise, this is a great location for large cities.
4. East of Hope
The final location to build a city in Wild West Dynasty is east of Hope.

You’ll find it close to a town with some livestock pens.
The advantage of this area is that it has some resource areas practically in the area’s backyard.
It’s also quite large and flat, so building on it is easy.
You’re also close to an area where clay deposits are located.
Although the livestock town isn’t active yet, it might also be a valuable place for trade.
The negative aspect of this location is that there is also a coyote that spawns within it.
So, you’ll need to contend with it from time to time.
Conclusion
Finding a location in Wild West Dynasty isn’t always easy.
The four locations above are ideal due to their size, proximity to resources, and flat land.
