1. Hunting Food

The fastest way to get food in Wild West Dynasty is to hunt it.

The problem with cooking, in general, is that you also need the recipe to cook the food in the first place.

You can’t cook just anything you bring down and harvest the meat of.

If you don’t have the cooking recipe for the meat, then you can’t cook it.

The first food recipe that is easy to get your hands on is the Rabbit or Hare recipe.

You just need to go to the Hermit’s Farm in the game.

You’ll find the recipe in a book laying on a small table inside the hermit’s house.

It will be called Ed’s Magic.

Read the book in your inventory, and you’ll unlock the Rabbit/Hare recipe.

You’ll find the other cooked recipes by performing other quests or locating them elsewhere in the game.

In regards to hare, you can easily catch a number of hare meat by making small, hare, traps.

It doesn’t take long for the hare to appear in the trap, so you can make dozens of traps and have tons of meat in no time.

Since you have the cooking recipe, you can then craft a campfire and cook the meat on the fire.

2. Buying Food

If you have the cash, then you can also buy food in the game.

One of the best places to get food early in the game is at Momma J’s.

You can find her in the city of Taxation.

She has cooked food that you’re able to buy and eat.

You can also buy food at the general store down in Hope.

3. Foraging For Food

Finally, you can forage for food in certain areas of the map.

Berries are harvestable in two major locations.

The first is just south of the Hermit’s Farm.

You’ll climb up a hill as if you were heading to the path that takes you to the elevator.

You’ll find a few berry bushes along the way that you can forage and collect berries from.

There’s also a number of berry bushes up on the mountain beside your family’s old farm.

They won’t satisfy too much of your hunger, but berries can be a nice snack to keep your hunger topped off.
