There’s the northern side of the map and the southern side with a large cliff separating them.

In this survival guide, we’ll show you how to fix the elevator in Wild West Dynasty, so you can explore the southern portion of the map.

Head To The Elevator Location and Speak To Roger

The good news is that fixing the elevator is one of the main quests in Wild West Dynasty.

As such, once the quest leads to it, you just need to follow the quest markers to find the locations you need.

The quest begins with you traveling to the elevator.

You’ll find it south of the Hermit’s Farm and cave where you buried your mother.

Once you’re there, you’ll find a man named Roger.

You’ll need to speak to him a few times and investigate the elevator to proceed through the quest.

Find The Lumberjack’s Camp and Beer

At some point, you’ll find out you need a cogwheel replacement.

Roger will suggest heading to the lumberjack camp and asking them to make one.

Follow the quest marker to find the lumberjack camp.

It’s just on the edge of a forested area.

Once you arrive, you’re going to need to speak to the head lumberjack.

The dialogue here is a bit cringe, but you’ll need to get through it to reach the next part.

At some point, you’ll need to find a tree that the lumberjacks can use to make the cogwheel.

You’ll discover another lumberjack, Mytree, who isn’t keen on letting you cut down his tree.

However, you can lure him away by finding him a beer.

Now, at this point, I had struggled to find a beer since the game doesn’t provide any hints on where to obtain one.

The good news is that there’s a beer that spawns close by after speaking to Mytree.

Simply head back toward the camp and by the tent closest to Mytree, you’ll find two beer bottles sitting on a crate.

Pick up a beer, then give it to Mytree.

Once he becomes drunk enough and leaves, you can cut down the tree and head back to the lumberjacks.

They’ll give you a cogwheel, and you can finally return to Roger and the elevator.

Fix The Elevator

At long last, you’re able to return to the elevator and fix it.

Simply interact with the elevator and the new cogwheel will go in place.

Speak with Roger again, then join him in the southern portion of the map.

You’ll have a preacher’s son that you need to speak with to complete the quest.

From there on out, however, the elevator is in working condition.

Just be careful of using your horse on it.
