How To Unlock The Stone Mine in Wild West Dynasty

Before you can build a stone mine, you’re going to need to unlock it on the tech tree.

Navigate to the technology tab in the menu, then head to the Manager’s Tech Tree.

At the top of the tree, you’ll see a node that has both the stone mine and sawmill on it.

You need three technology points to unlock it.

If you don’t have enough points yet, then you can easily get some by crafting some items.

I simply crafted a stone axe several times before earning enough tech points.

Once you have it unlocked, then you can find a location to build it.

Where To Find A Stone Mine Location in Wild West Dynasty

You can’t build a stone mine just anywhere in Wild West Dynasty.

You need to build a stone mine on a stone resource area.

You can find these by looking for large sections of blue/grey stone clumped together in one area.

When you pass over the area, you should see a banner show up at the top of the screen with a mine symbol on it.

This indicates that you discovered some sort of mine resource area.

If you see a bunch of stone, then you know it’s a stone resource area.

You can also check your map for the icon of a pickaxe.

This indicates that the area is a mining resource area.

Once you find such a place, you can build your stone mine production building on it.

How To Build A Stone Mine in Wild West Dynasty

To build the stone mine in Wild West Dynasty, you’re going to need to equip your wooden builder’s hammer.

Press the “B” button to enter the build menu.

You’ll need to navigate to the Production option, click it, then find the stone mine.

Click it again, and you should see a foundation that you can set down.

The ground needs to be pretty flat to put it down, so you might struggle a bit to find the perfect spot.

Once you have that spot, click, and the foundation will go on the ground.

Now, you’ll need to take your hammer and hammer in the resources.

You’ll need 10 planks and 12 logs to finish the stone mine.

Have them in your inventory and hammer them into the building until it finishes.

You now have a stone mine that you can put a worker in to start collecting stone for you.
