While the full functionality of the sheriff’s office in Wild West Dynasty isn’t fully known yet, it’s likely going to be an important building.

It may house criminals, protect your city, or be a place to pick up bounties.

In this survival guide, we’ll show you how to build the sheriff’s office and assign someone to it.

Before you can build the office, you’re going to unlock the technology.

Bring up your Management menu and head to the Manager’s Tech Tree.

You’ll find the sheriff’s office on the bottom branch.

You’ll find the office on the second node in the branch.

It takes a few tech points to unlock which you can easily gain by crafting some wooden hammers.

Once you have the node unlocked, you’re able to build the sheriff’s office.

After equipping your hammer, you can access the building menu to grab the blueprint for the office.

Click on “B” and head to “City” then “City Buildings,” and you’ll find the sheriff’s office as one of the options to build.

In order to build it, you’re going to need the following resources:

  • 5 Logs
  • 15 Planks
  • 15 Nails

Planks you can make from logs with the Tinkerer’s Table.

Nails you can buy at any general store.

Hammer those resources into the building until it has everything it needs.

Your sheriff’s office is ready for service.

With your office set up, it’s time to assign someone to it.

Navigating to the assignment menu for the office isn’t that straightforward just yet.

You’ll need to go to the Management Tab.

Then click on the city that you’ve established.

You may need to double-click a few times on this bar to make it work.

Once you do, you’ll see a list of icons on the left-hand side of the menu.

You should see a sheriff’s star among them.

Click it, and you’ll be able to assign a worker to the office.
