One of the initial challenges in the early days in any survival game is staying full.

Food plays an important part in stamina regeneration in Sengoku Dynasty, so it’s a good idea to stay full as much as you can.

In this survival guide, we’ll go over some easy ways to stay fed during your first few days in the game.

Eggs will be your best friend in the early days of the game.

They do a pretty good job of keeping you full, especially if you cook them.

Eggs are in bird nests which are scattered throughout the map.

You’ll typically find them on hills and in high places, but they’re also abundant in the forest.

For an easy place to score a ton of eggs, you’re going to want to head to the hills north of the starting village.

You basically pass under them shortly after starting the game.

Climb up there, and you’ll find tons of bird nests with eggs.

Stock up, cook them, and you’ll be good for food for a while.

While you’re out running through the woods, keep your eyes peeled for Gobo plants.

These are fairly tall plants with purple flowers.

You can collect them and cook them on a fire to create a dish.

Gobo doesn’t satisfy that much hunger, but it’s great when used with other types of food to finish it off.

Gobo also grows in large patches, so it’s easy to grab quite a few of them at a given time.

You and your villagers will likely live off Gobo for some time.

Berries are an easy food source to ignore since they rarely provide much satiation.

You should still collect wineberries that you find in the wild to use as a snack.

They grow on bushes throughout the woods and along the road.

While they won’t feed you entirely, they work great as a small snack.

You can use them to finish off any remaining hunger that you have.

That also means you don’t have to waste a larger meal just to satiate your hunger.

The first weapon you’re able to make in the game is a wooden spear.

These spears don’t do a lot of damage, so you’ll want to keep your hunting down to small quarries.

Hare can be difficult to hit since they’re small and fast.

Foxes and deer, on the other hand, are a lot easier to hunt.

They’re larger, which makes them easier targets, and the wooden spears do a good job of damaging them.

You typically only need two to three spears for a fox and three to four spears for a deer.

Avoid hunting boar as the spears aren’t quite enough to damage them effectively.

Staying fed in Sengoku Dynasty isn’t easy when you first start out.
