The pigsty can help produce meat, and perhaps even other resources, for your city in Wild West Dynasty.

Once the Animal Husbandry Update lands, you’ll be able to buy and own pigs to produce certain resources.

In this survival guide, we’ll show you how to get ready for that update by building a pigsty in Wild West Dynasty.

To access the pigsty’s blueprints, you’re going to need to unlock it in the farming technology tree.

The pigsty requires six tech points which you can accumulate by crafting items.

Once you have six tech points, look for the node at the center column on the bottom row.

Press and hold the “E” key to unlock it.

With it unlocked, you’re ready to build the pigsty.

To find the pigsty, you’re going to need to equip your builder’s hammer.

Then press the “B” key to get into the building menu.

You’ll need to navigate to the “City” section, then the “City Buildings” section.

You’ll find the pigsty with an icon of a steer on it.

That’s likely bound to change once the update lands.

With the pigsty selected, you can put it down anywhere that has flat land.

To build it, you’ll need:

  • 5 Logs
  • 10 Planks
  • 5 Stones

With those resources in your inventory, hammer them into the pigsty until it’s complete.

Now that the pigsty is ready, it’s time to assign a worker to it.

You’ll need to double-click on your city to bring up the different services and businesses in your city.

Click on the pigsty icon, and you’ll be able to assign a worker via the drop-down menu.

During work hours, the worker will produce meat from it.

As of the time of writing, the pigsty says it will produce wolf meat which is incorrect.

Once the update goes live, that will likely change to pig meat.

Your pigsty will start producing meat for you, your city, and for trade.

The pigsty will be a vital building in your city once it’s fully fleshed out and functional.
