During the Call of the Mountains questline, you’re going to end up taking a trip to a mysterious tree with your son.

But what is the mysterious tree and why is it there?

In this survival guide, we’re going to cover the Call of the Mountains questline and give you the backstory behind the mysterious tree in Medieval Dynasty.

The Call of the Mountains quest is a random quest that your son will have at some point during the game.

Since you can’t do anything to force these quests to start, you basically have to wait until your son talks about it with you.

Whenever you see that your son has a quest, it’s worth talking to him to see if it’s the right quest.

You’ll know you have the right one when your son starts to talk about wanting to explore.

Once your son asks about going to the mountains, accept it, and then prepare for the trip ahead.

One of the first tasks you’ll need to complete is to make two waterskins.

If you have two waterskins already, then you’re good to go.

You can also buy them from a seamstress in one of the villages if you can’t make them yourself.

If you do have the sewing hut unlocked, then making a waterskin is relatively inexpensive.

You just need 4 linen thread and 8 leather to make two of them.

Once you have those waterskins, you’ll need to wait a day to begin your adventure.

There’s also a chance that the quest might glitch, and you might be able to start the journey immediately.

I’ve had that happen on my own playthrough.

Otherwise, wait a day, and then speak with your son to set off.

This particular questline takes you out into the world of Medieval Dynasty.

The Valley has some beautiful areas, and this quest gives you the opportunity to explore some of them.

Even better, you’re doing so with your son.

For those who love roleplaying, this quest can provide you with plenty of opportunities to immerse yourself in your character.

As a whole, the quest basically gives you three different locations that you can visit.

You have to travel to three different vistas each time.

So, you’re given a choice of three locations, then you visit one of them, and then you’re given the choice of another three locations, and so on.

At the end, you decide to take your son to the mysterious tree.

The mysterious tree is a special tree that you can’t chop down.

It’s located near a mine towards the center of the map.

Besides just being a beautiful area, the tree also holds significance.

A passionate player named Martin actually told his story about how he got involved in the game.

His wife, Lijda, became ill and had to live in the hospital toward the end of her life.

Martin, both during and after, turned to Medieval Dynasty to find some peace during this difficult part of his life.

When his wife passed, he continued to play the game and find solace within it.

After telling his story on a community board, Toplitz, the publishers behind Medieval Dynasty, learned of it and had the devs include a memorial tree to his wife in the game.

The mysterious tree is that memorial tree.

So, it’s a great place to reflect and remember loved ones here and gone.

The Call of the Mountains questline is a beautiful opportunity to enjoy some beautiful areas of Medieval Dynasty with your son.

It also leads you to a gorgeous tree where you can reflect a bit on matters important to you.
