An iron mine unlocks the ability to produce iron for your city which you can then use to create better tools, ammo, and other crafting items.

In order to build an iron mine, you’re going to need to unlock and find a resource area.

In this survival guide, we’ll show you how to build an iron mine in Wild West Dynasty.

Unlock the Iron Mine in the Manager’s Tech Tree

To build the iron mine, you’re going to need to unlock its blueprint.

You can find the blueprint in the Manager’s Tech Tree along the top.

You’ll need five tech points to unlock it which you can gain by crafting different items like wooden hammers or stone knives.

Once you have enough tech points, hold down “E” on the node, and it will unlock.

Find an Iron Resource Area and Build the Mine

The hardest part of building the iron mine is finding an iron resource area.

As of the current update, there isn’t any noticeable landmarks that indicate an iron resource area.

You basically stumble upon them.

That said, you can find a few iron resource areas along the northern edge of the map.

You’ll know you found an iron mine when you see a banner appear at the top of your screen with a pickaxe symbol.

Going to your map and hovering over the area you just discovered will tell you what type of resource area you’ve found.

Once you have an iron resource area, you can equip your hammer and build an iron mine on it.

To build the iron mine in Wild West Dynasty, you’re going to need 10 planks and 12 logs.

Hammer those in until the building is complete.

How To Assign Workers to the Iron Mine and Bring Iron To Your Warehouse

If you have a worker available, then you can assign them to the iron mine to start producing iron.

To do so, you’re going to need to head to the Management tab.

Then click on your city.

At the top, you’ll see a few different icons.

The one you want looks like a pickaxe and some grain.

Click it, and it will bring up all your production buildings.

Simply click on the drop-down menu next to the iron man and choose the worker that you want in that mine.

Provided that the working hours are active, they’ll start collecting iron for you.

Now, you’ll need to bring that iron to your city warehouse.

To do so, head back into the Management Tab and double click your city.

Click on the “Transport” menu item at the top.

Buy a cart if you can, then send it to the iron mine.

The cart will now start bringing iron to your city warehouse.

You’ll have tons of iron in no time.
