Special projects are a useful way of earning Dynasty Legend in Sengoku Dynasty.

As the game updates, they might also provide more benefits and buffs.

In this survival guide, we’ll perform a deep-dive into special projects and why you should complete them.

For a visual walkthrough about special projects, be sure to watch the video below!

Special projects in Sengoku Dynasty are unique challenges that you can find throughout the map.

They’re typically building challenges.

One of the first you encounter is a broken bridge near the burnt-down village at the beginning of the game.

Completing this special projects earns you a good amount of Dynasty Legend which you need to recruit more villagers to your village.

They can also allow traders to walk around the area and visit you.

The devs behind Sengoku Dynasty have also said that they plan on working on special projects and making them even more impactful.

As such, if you’re looking for something to do in the game, then taking on these challenges may be worth your while.

You’ll find special projects throughout the map in Sengoku Dynasty.

Sometimes an NPC will make you aware of one by providing a quest to fix or restore it.

Other times, you might be exploring the map and stumble across a special project on your own.

They tend to be things like watchtowers, bridges, shrines, and other structures.

If you can’t find any by walking around, then it’s worth talking to NPCs around the area to see if they can point you to one.

There are several steps toward completing a special project.

Each project has its own requirements and some may take longer than others to finish.

Follow these steps to complete a special project in Sengoku Dynasty.

You first need to build a workshop.

You’ll find this option in Basic Structures in the build menu.

You’ll need the workshop to put your items in to complete the special project.

However, you’re first going to need items to make the workshop.

To build the special project workshop, you’re going to need the following items:

  • 10 Bamboo
  • 10 Stone
  • 6 Logs (Any)
  • 10 Planks (Any)

Hammer those items into the workshop to complete it.

With the workshop complete, you can now start repairing the actual structure.

At this point, you have a choice to make.

You can either assign a worker to the special project who will gather resources over time, or you can gather the resources yourself.

It’s a bit faster if you do the work yourself, but that also means you’ll have less time to do other things that you need to do.

Either way, the special project has a certain number of resources it needs to complete the job.

In the case of the broken bridge special project, you’ll find yourself needing 20 logs and 40 planks.

It’s a bit difficult to see on the UI, but hopefully that will change with the next few updates.

To change between the resources, press “F” and you can switch between the logs and planks to add to the project.

Once you have all the items needed, it’s time to wait.

Once all the resources are in, you still need to wait a certain number of seasons for your workers to build the project.

You’ll also need to assign a worker to the project.

To do so, go to Jobs, and you’ll see “Builder For Special Project,” and click that.

You’ll see an Assign Worker option.

Click that and choose the worker you want assigned.

Once the number of seasons have passed, the special project will be complete.

Keep in mind, too, that this worker won’t be able to do their other job, so choose appropriately!
