A common problem in survival games is the lack of storage and inventory space.

While out in the mines of Moria, you’re bound to end up leaving stuff behind because you don’t have room to carry it.

In this survival guide, we’ll show you three different methods on how get more storage in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria.

If you want to see how these storage devices look, themselves, then be sure to watch the video below!

In Return to Moria, you start off with a pack.

Unfortunately, the pack is quite small and only holds 10 items in it.

The good news is that there are larger and better packs out there.

You may need to find or craft them, but it’s worth considering to ensure you have a larger inventory that lets you hold these items while exploring the mines.

If you lose the pack you started out with, then you can also make a new one.

While you’re at your base, you can also make a wooden chest for general storage.

The wooden chest takes 15 wood scraps to build, and you can find the blueprint in your Building Menu with the “B” key.

It has quite a few more slots than your pack, and you can put basically anything in it.

It’s worth making a few chests if you want to stay organized.

Otherwise, even one wooden chest can help expand your inventory considerably.

If you have over 99 wood scraps in your inventory, then it’s time to make a resource pallet.

These are unique storage items in that they only store a single resource.

A wood resource pallet, for example, will store wood scraps.

A coal resource pallet will store coal.

They can hold up to 150 items, so you can store quite a few items away for a rainy day.

This also helps clear them out of your wooden chest, so you can use that for more important items.

Resource pallets require a certain number of resources to make.

For wood, it requires 25.

For coal, it requires 5.

Each time you discover a new resource, you also unlock its resource pallet.

Build a few of these storage items and never worry about having stuffed pockets again.
