Durin’s axe is a powerful weapon that you have to make.

To make the axe, you’re going to need to find all five axe fragments scattered throughout the Mines of Moria.

Where To Pick Up the Durin’s Axe Quest

You’ll find a journal of Ori’s in the first outpost that you encounter in the game.

Look for a book standing in front of statue.

Click on the book and read it.

You should receive a quest to find a fragment of Durin’s axe.

Where To Find Durin’s Axe Fragment

After picking up the quest, you should see a blue marker appear on your map.

Head to the blue marker.

You may need to dig through some dirt or rock to get to the area.

Once you’re in the search area, the quest will update and tell you to start looking around.

The axe fragment is relatively easy to spot as it glows gold.

You may need to search a few damaged buildings to find it.

Once you’ve found the axe, pick it up, and you’ll receive a notification that you found one of Durin’s axe’s fragments.

To repair the axe, you’re going to need to find the other fragments.

So, keep an eye out for more journals that provide a clue as to whether there’s a fragment nearby.
