The forager’s hut is one of the first buildings you’ll unlock in Sengoku Dynasty.

It’s helpful for collecting herbs, food, and grass which you can use to turn into straw.

In this survival guide, we’ll walk you through the process of building the forager’s hut in Sengoku Dynasty and assigning a forager.

How To Unlock the Forager’s Hut in Sengoku Dynasty

Many of the blueprints you need to build certain buildings in Sengoku Dynasty are unlockable through quests.

The forager’s hut is one of the first production buildings that become unlocked when you proceed through the main quest.

You can find the main quest at the burnt down village that’s near the starting point on the game.

Complete a few objectives, and eventually, the forager’s hut will unlock.

How To Build the Forager’s Hut

In order to build the forager’s hut, you’re going to need to acquire a few resources.

The total number of resources include:

• 10 Logs (Any)
• 16 Planks (Any)
• 14 Planks (Conifer)
• 20 Bamboo
• 26 Sticks
• 4 Stones

The building process looks like this with its required resources.

• Foundation: 8 Logs (Any)
• Floor: 8 Planks (Any)
• Exterior: 20 Bamboo, 14 Planks (Conifer), 20 Sticks
• Roof: 4 Stones, 6 Sticks, 2 Logs (Any), 8 Planks (Any)

Hammer those resources into each section, and it will eventually become complete.

You can put furniture inside the hut if you wish, but it isn’t necessary.

How To Assign a Worker to the Forager’s Hut in Sengoku Dynasty

In order for foraged items to appear, you’re going to need a worker at the hut.

To assign a worker, head to the Dynasty tab, then click on Jobs.

Click on the newly made forager’s hut and at the top you’ll see a section called “Assign Worker.”

If you click that, then the menu will take you to your list of workers.

Click the individual who best matches with the hut.

You’ve now assigned a worker to the hut, but they don’t know what you want them to forage.

Back in the worker UI, you should see four slots that you can fill with the items you want the forager to collect.

Click on a square, then choose a selection from the list.

You’re then able to tell the worker how much of each item you want them to collect.

If you want to be them productive, then make sure you slide the happy meter to the right and that you have enough food to support them.

With the items selected, and the number of items selected, your forager will not get items at the change of the season.
