Your villagers have a few needs that you need to fill in order for them to be happy.

If left unhappy, then they’ll actually leave the town.

In this survival guide, we’ll show you how to keep your townsfolk happy in Wild West Dynasty.

See the process visually by checking out the video below!

Your townsfolk have three needs in Wild West Dynasty.

First, they need a home.

You can’t invite anyone to your town without a home.

You can also fill that home with a bed and other pieces of furniture to make it more homey for them.

Secondly, your villagers are hungry.

They have food needs now.

It’s 10 units of food per person.

So, if you have five people in your village, then you’re looking at 50 needs of food each day.

Finally, they also have water needs.

You also need 10 units of water per person.

Again, if you have five people in your village, then you’re going to need to fill 50 needs of water each day.

If you don’t have a farm or large stock of food available for your villagers, then you may feel like you need to run around in a hurry to get everything.

You may not even be sure where to start.

Food is relatively easy to acquire.

You need to make a few hare traps, and then set them down.

Before you know it, you’ll have a few pieces of hare meat that you can cook and give your townsfolk.

That will quickly fill up their needs for the day, at least.

When it comes to water, you’re going to need to make a few buckets.

To do so, you’re going to need to make a tinker’s bench.

In the tinker’s bench, you can make a bucket with three planks.

I suggest making a few buckets at a time since you basically lose them when you give them to your townsfolk.

With your buckets, you now need to head to your well.

Fill the buckets with water, then head to your city warehouse.

Don’t put the food and water in the storage.

There are new areas where you specifically store food and water.

You’ll find these areas at the front of the warehouse.

To store water, head to the left side of the city warehouse.

Access it, then click on the buckets of water and transfer it over.

Do the same with the food on the right side of the city warehouse.

It will add to the hydration and hunger meter for the city.

You can track how much food and water your city has, as well as its needs, by looking at the summary section of the Management tab.

Make sure your villagers have everything they need or else they’ll leave you.

Yes, seasons do impact food and water needs in Wild West Dynasty.

During the winter season, there is greater demand for food.

You’ll notice your character, in particular, becomes very hungry when exposed to cold temperatures.

Make sure you stock up on extra food to avoid dying.

During the summer season, there is a greater need for water.

Be ready to make lots of buckets to ensure you and your town have enough water.

The season also impacts how quickly your well replenishes with water.

You may need to think strategically to ensure you don’t run out of water.

With these tips in mind, you can keep your villagers happy and ensure they don’t run off and abandon their jobs.
