How To Pick Up the Onibaba Quest in Sengoku Dynasty

To pick up the quest for the onibaba, you’re going to need to do a few quests.

In particular, follow the main questline that you receive after first starting the game.

You’ll get to the onibaba quest after completing the special project quest to repair the bridge.

Speak to your friend at the burnt-down village when the project is complete, and he’ll tell you about a mysterious woman seen stalking through the village.

You’ll need to confront her to see what she’s up to.

You have the option of directly locating her or stopping off at Kengyo to receive more information.

What Does Kengyo Say About the Onibaba

If you choose to stop off at Kengyo’s and ask him about the onibaba, then he won’t be too pleased.

That’s especially true if you chose to side with the young hunter over him.

However, he will tell you that he thinks the woman creeping through the village is an onibaba.

Then he’ll go into some long-winded story about his wife, so be prepared for that.

With this information, or lack of it, you’re then able to find the onibaba yourself.

Where Is The Onibaba

Head east along the road until you come to a meadow filled with grass.

You’ll find the onibaba dancing in a camp that’s tucked into a cliffside.

You’ll be able to recognize her by the spooky mask she’s wearing.

Interact with her, and you’ll receive a cut scene that reveals the onibaba for just who she is.

She’ll give you a task to visit the watchtower to see the temple.

You need to eventually make it to the temple to ask for permission to found a proper village in the area.

The watchtower isn’t far, but you’ll need to travel through the meadow to get there.

Climb the tower, and you’ll receive another cut scene of a lovely aerial view of the area.

When the cut scene is over, you’ll now have your choice of which path you want to take your character down next.
