Where To Find Narvi’s Muznaken Chest in the Elven Quarter – Look Everywhere
Narvi’s Muznaken chest can spawn anywhere within the Elven Quarter.
Sometimes it’s up where the abandoned buildings are located.
Sometimes it’s in the forest.
You may need to search around to find his Muznaken, but it is there in the Elven Quarter.
You’ll recognize it by the stone statues sitting on top of it.
Interacting with the chest will give you the mission to discover the carvings and unlock the chest.
You’ll be able to see how many carvings you need to bring to the chest to unlock it.
In my past playthroughs, I’ve seen it requires anywhere between three and five Muznaken carvings.
Where To Find Narvi’s Muznaken Carvings in Return to Moria – Don’t Forget the Chests!
You can Narvi’s Muznaken carvings in three main areas in the Elven Quarter.
They’re random spawns, too, so they’re not going to be in the same location for every player.
That said, the carvings do tend to drop in similar areas.
I’ve often found one or two in the abandoned buildings to the right of the entrance to the Elven Quarter.
As soon as you enter the area, go right until you see some abandoned buildings.
These carvings I’ve found on the ground, sitting on a box, and even tucked in a corner and hiding behind some crates.
Another area I’ve seen Muznaken carvings is on the ground in open areas.
They’re easy to spot thanks to their orange-gold color, so keep your eyes peeled.
The final place I’ve often seen Muznaken carvings is inside orkish chests.

These are inside Goblin-Men camps that you’ll need to clear in order to open the chest at your leisure.
Unlock the chest by breaking the totem at the center of camp, which drops a key.
Not every chest will have a carving in it, but I’ve found one or two in those chests.
