The Silent Alarm requires the following resources to make:

  • 13 Sticks
  • 1 Stone
  • 1 Wire
  • 8 Bones
  • 1 Skull
  • 1 Radio

Once you have all those items, you can put down the blueprint and fill it with its required resources.

The silent alarm will play music from the radio whenever an enemy steps on the trigger plate.

The trigger plate for the alarm is the stone.

If an enemy doesn’t step on that trigger plate, then the alarm won’t go off.

Building the trap in narrow passages is going to get you the most effective use out of it.

A good way to use it is to build a wall with an opening that cannibals and other enemies can filter through.

They’ll have no choice but to walk over the trigger plate then, alerting you to their presence.

You can also put the trap on the paths that cut through the forest.

Since cannibals tend to walk on these paths, they’ll step on the plate and trigger the alarm.

This then tells you where they’re located.

Now, keep in mind that the sound can and will attract other enemies.

So, it’s a good idea to investigate the alarm and reset it to avoid bringing wave after wave of enemies to your area.

Otherwise, the alarm is an excellent method for keeping track of your enemies and ensuring none of them sneak up on you again.
