Cave honey has an abundance of uses, but it’s not always easy to find.

To find cave honey, you’re going to need to progress past the Elven Quarter in Return to Moria.

Once you start exploring the mines, you’ll come across barrels with bees buzzing around them.

You should see an interaction option with the barrel to collect some honey.

You can collect the honey without worrying about the bees.

They won’t sting you.

You should get three cave honey from a fresh barrel.

Remember where the barrel is, however, as more honey will appear in it each day.

The miner’s helmet is a Tier I helmet that sheds light in the area.

It’s useful for those who don’t have the Zarach Torch yet or don’t like to use torches.

Keep an eye out for future items that require cave honey, too.
