Loni’s chest is awaiting brave adventurer’s who are ready to delve deep into the mines.

While exploring, you’ll come across a dwarven outpost and inside it is a chest described as belonging to Loni.

In this survival guide, we’ll show you how to unlock Loni’s chest in Return to Moria and what rewards it possesses.

Where Is Loni’s Chest in Return to Moria

You’ll need to progress past the Elven Quarter if you want to find Loni’s chest in Return to Moria.

After breaking through some dirt, you’ll move from the Elven Quarter into the mines, themselves.

Instead of climbing upwards, take the broken stairs down to the bottom.

You’ll eventually come across a dwarven outpost.

Inside the outpost, and against a wall, you’ll find a locked chest belonging to Loni.

You’ll need a key to unlock it, but there aren’t any keys around.

How To Unlock Loni’s Chest in Return to Moria

You’ll need to craft Loni’s key if you want to unlock the chest.

To get the recipe, interact with the chest.

You’ll receive a new quest to unlock the chest as well as the recipe for the key.

Head to the forge and scroll down until you see the Loni key recipe.

You’ll need 2 Bronze Ingots to make it.

Once you have two bronze ingots (from smelting copper and tin ore together in the Furnace), you can click the craft button.

With the key in your inventory, you can now unlock Loni’s chest.

What’s Inside Loni’s Chest in Return to Moria

Unlocking Loni’s chest offers two rewards.

The first is a message that concerns Durin’s Axe.

You discover that another fragment is in the area.

This unlocks the ability to search for and grab another fragment of Durin’s Axe.

There are also physical rewards waiting for you in the chest.

You’ll find the following reward items inside Loni’s chest:

• Steel Ingots
• Sapphires
• Metal Fragments
• Coal

Take the items and distribute them as needed.
