How To Get Black Diamonds in Return to Moria

There are three main ways to get black diamonds in Return to Moria.
The first is to defeat orcs and other enemies during a siege.
When you defeat an enemy that is trying to destroy your base, they have a chance of dropping a black diamond.
It’s a rare chance, but it can happen.
Defeat as many as you can to increase the chances of one of them dropping a diamond or two.
The second method is to defeat bosses.
You can find your first major boss in Orc-Town.
Defeating him drops a good amount of black diamonds.
Some of the orcs and goblins you fight during his boss battle also have a chance of dropping black diamonds.
Running through orc-town now and then can net you with a handful of black diamonds, too, since a large number of enemies spawn there.
The final way to collect black diamonds is to search in orc chests.
Some chests, like in a boss arena, will have black diamonds.
Others might rest in orc chests that you can open by destroying the nearby totem to receive the key.
Not every chest will have a black diamond, but I find that those that exist within a boss arena tend to have them.
Black diamonds aren’t the easiest to gather, but keep destroying enemies, and you’ll start to build up your stock.
