Brewing ale is great until you realize you can’t bring with it you.
However, there is one Masterwork item that can enable you to bring ale with you wherever you go.
In this survival guide, we’ll show you how to make the Wanderkeg in Return to Moria.
To see the keg in action, be sure to watch the video below!
How To Unlock the Wanderkeg

To unlock the Wanderkeg, you’re going to need to first make the Brew Kettle.
It unlocks both the Wanderkeg and the recipe for Evening Ale.
Craft the Brew Kettle and place it down somewhere in your base to make both recipes unlock.
How To Craft the Wanderkeg in Return to Moria

You’ll need to craft the Wanderkeg in a forge like the Great Forge of Narvi.
Head back to the Elven Quarter and bring resources required to craft the keg.
The resources you’ll need include:
- 1 Steel Ingot
- 6 Elven Wood
The keg isn’t that expensive to make, but if you’re running out of elven wood, then you’re in the perfect spot for it.
You can harvest more elven wood in the Elven Quarter while you’re there.
Otherwise, take your resources and head to the Great Forge of Narvi where you can craft the Wanderkeg.
Now, keep in mind that since it’s a Masterwork item, any other Masterwork item you’re carrying will drop.
You can only carry one Masterwork item on you at a time.
That also includes being unable to carry it in your inventory.
So, choose wisely.
What Does the Wanderkeg Do?

The Wanderkeg is a useful item for moving ale around.
In multiplayer, it can be helpful to have someone carry the ale, so everyone can drink from it and give themselves a buff.
You can store a certain number of ale in the keg directly from a brew kettle or from other kegs found in taverns.
So, gather your brew and buff yourself to victory whenever you want by having the Wanderkeg around.
