A hunter’s hut enables you to gather more food and other animal-related resources to your village in Sengoku Dynasty.
Yet, the building is an expensive one to make, and you’ll need at least two hunters to fill its jobs.
In this survival guide, we’ll show you how to build the hunter’s hut in Sengoku Dynasty and what it produces.
Take a look at the full build in the video below!
How To Build the Hunter’s Hut in Sengoku Dynasty

The hunter’s hut is a massive structure in Sengoku Dynasty.
You’ll need relatively flat land without obstacles to build it on.
You’ll notice that the structure has a building and a tower attached to it.
The good news is that the building mechanic combines both halves into the same build sequence.
So, if it says it needs 15 of something, that means for the whole building rather than the tower or building part of it.
The total amount of resources you’ll need for the building is:
- 22 Logs (Any)
- 42 Planks (Any)
- 20 Planks (Conifer)
- 45 Sticks
- 8 Stone
You can see that while the hunter’s hut doesn’t require rare resources, it does require a lot of common resources.
That can make the build difficult, so I’d recommend changing the season to refill your wood storage with more wood.
It’s also worth telling your woodworker to produce just logs since you’re going to be eating through them for this particular build.
Here’s how the different sections of the build proceed:
- Foundation:
- 16 Logs (Any)
- Floor:
- 16 Planks (Any)
- Exterior:
- 20 Planks (Conifer)
- 33 Sticks
- 6 Planks (Any)
- Roof:
- 8 Stone
- 12 Sticks
- 4 Logs (Any)
- 16 Planks (Any)
- Furniture:
- 2 Logs (Any)
- 4 Planks (Any)
There is one mandatory furniture piece you need to build for the hunter’s hut to complete.
The hunter’s workbench allows you to make a few items and weapons like the shortbow and halfbow.
What Can You Craft in the Hunter’s Hut

There are a handful of items you can make in the hunter’s hut.
Some of the most important are weapons and ammo.
You’re able to craft the shortbow and half-bow, for example, as well as stone arrows.
You can also make other items related to hunting like stone knives, wooden yaris, and torches.
It also has a recipe for a lamp which you can use in the mines and other dark areas.
It’s worth assigning a worker to the station, at the very least, so you have a steady supply of arrows.
How To Assign Workers to the Hunter’s Hut

The hunter’s hut in Sengoku Dynasty has two possible jobs.
You can assign a worker to the workbench inside the hut or to the hut, itself.
The worker assigned to the workbench will be able to craft items like those listed above.
They can produce arrows for you, for example.
If you assign a worker to the hut, then they’re the individual who is going to be out and hunting.
They’ll be able to collect resources like meat, fur, feathers, and even fat.
Since you need fur to make leather, it’s not a bad idea to have someone focusing on that animal product.
The hunter’s hut can also ensure your village never goes hungry.
