How To Unlock the Last Alliance Maul in Return to Moria

You’ll need to head to the Western Halls to find the Last Alliance Maul recipe.
The statues in this area have a chance of dropping the recipe.
Unfortunately, because there are a lot of items and statues in the area, it can take some time to unlock the right recipe.
You might end up unlocking recipes for other items instead of the Last Alliance Maul.
So, you’ll need to keep repairing statues until you have unlocked both halves of the Last Alliance Maul recipe.
To repair statues in this area, you’ll need 20 stone per statue and a steel hammer.
How To Craft the Last Alliance Maul in Return to Moria

Even though the Last Alliance Maul is a special weapon, you can still make it in your own forge.
You won’t need to travel to the Great Forge of Narvi to make it, for example.
That said, the Last Alliance Maul does require one slightly more difficult resource to gather and that’s bronze ingots.
The bronze ingot requires you to smelt both copper and tin ore in a furnace.
It may take a bit of exploring to find both ores in the Western Halls, depending on how the different mine shafts generate for you.
Otherwise, the rest of the resources needed to craft the Last Alliance Maul are relatively simple.
The recipe requires the following the resources:
- 2 Steel Ingots
- 1 Bronze Ingot
- 4 Elven Wood
- 2 Hide
Once you have all the resources you need, craft the maul in your forge.
Last Alliance Maul Stats
The Last Alliance Maul is a Tier II weapon that causes bludgeoning damage.
While this may seem like nothing new, it has a particular affinity for breaking armor.
In the Western Halls, you’ll encounter various orcs, and even bosses, that wear armor.
It can take a long time to eat through their armor in order to actually damage them.
The maul is a great weapon for these particular enemies because it can crush their armor.
If you charge the weapon, then you can also stagger your enemies when you hit them.
That makes it a great weapon to keep on hand if you encounter armored enemies.
Once their armor is down, then you can switch to your main weapon to finish them off.
Add the Last Alliance Maul to your arsenal to be a foe to enemies of all types.
