Endnight has made it almost impossible to find the night vision goggles in Sons of the Forest due to moving them in different locations with the past few updates.

The good news is that they’re still in the Cultist Cave, but you’re going to have to search it a bit harder to find the pair of goggles now.

In this survival guide, we’ll show you where to find the night vision goggles in Sons of the Forest.

What Cave is the Night Vision Goggles in?

You’ll need to head to the western entrance location to Cave D, better known as, the Cultist Cave.

It’s on the western side of the snowy mountains and rests just off a large lake.

The lake in question has a sort of dumbbell shape to it.

Look for the cave on the right side of it.

You’ll know you’re in the right area if you spot two cultists dead in front of the entrance.

There are several different entrances to the Cultist Cave, but I think this particular entrance is the best one to easily grab the night vision goggles from.

Head inside and make sure you have a rebreather since you’ll need it to access a few underwater areas.

Where To Find the Night Vision Goggles

Once you enter the cave, you’ll see a pool of water.

Dive right in with your rebreather and follow the underwater path until you surface.

There are a few Puffies in this room, so either kill them or run straight ahead.

There’s a gap between two rocks that you can pass through and end up slipping down a slide.

The slide will dump you in some water.

Swim straight ahead for some life jackets, then take a slight left to go up a ramp.

You should find yourself in a room with a few more dead cultists and a painting on one of the cave walls.

With the painting on your right, move deeper into the cave until you get to an area with a small waterfall.

You should see a red light on the right side of the room.

Enter the tunnel and head past the red light.

You’ll also see a white light at the end of the tunnel.

Head right for it and watch out because Puffies spawn in this room, too.

From here, it’s a straight shot to the night vision goggles.

Follow the tunnel, crouching when necessary, until you get to a spot where you can stand again.

Keep an eye on the cave wall on the right.

It will curve slightly, and you should see a soldier stuck to the wall with the night vision goggles on his head.

Grab them, then continue to make your way through the cave to safety.
