It’s easy to miss the brewskin recipe if you don’t make a lot of resources.

Leather is a relatively inexpensive resource to make in the Loom.

The first time you craft leather, you’ll unlock the recipe for the brewskin.

Even if you don’t plan on using leather in the future, it’s worth making at least one, so you can get the incredible brewskin recipe unlocked.

You’ll find the brewskin recipe in a Workbench.

To craft the brewskin, you’ll need the following resources:

  • 1 Steel Ingot
  • 1 Ubasam Wood
  • 3 Leather

Steel is pretty easy to come by at this point, since you only need iron and coal to make it.

Ubasam wood is a bit more dangerous since you’ll need to harvest it from the Lower Deeps.

The Lower Deeps is fraught with danger, so you’ll want to make sure you’re well-equipped before exploring down there.

Leather is relatively easy to make provided you have Hide and salt.

You can get Hide from killing goats or making it in the loom with hide scraps and resin.

Salt is also easy to harvest, but you’ll need to brave the dangers of the Lower Deeps for that, too.

The good news is that the brewskin isn’t too expensive.

Once you have all the items, you can enter the Workbench’s UI and craft the brewskin.

Why You Should Use the Brewskin in Return to Moria

The brewskin is one of my favorite items and I rarely leave my base without it.

That’s because the brewskin can carry brews and ales from your brew kettle and out into the world.

I find it particularly useful when exploring the Lower Deeps.

The area is full of poisonous mushrooms and enemies that use poisoned weapons.

So, having my brewskin full of Scour Pilsner is extremely helpful.

I can just drink from it to keep myself from becoming poisoned.

The brewskin basically lets you take some of the buffs from the drink and apply it at any point, after you drink it.

Now, you do need to drink the entire brewskin in order to receive the buff from the brew or ale.

You also don’t gain the secondary status effect that the kettle gives you.

However, the brewskin is an extremely helpful item that can cure or buff you when you need it most.
