You’ll need to repair statues to unlock the Belegost boots recipe.

These statues are located in the Lower Deeps, however, so it can be dangerous to access them.

Each statue requires 20 stones to fix it, and you’ll also need a steel hammer.

The boots come in two recipe fragments, so you’ll need to repair at least two statues.

However, because there are several statues and recipe fragments to be discovered in the Lower Deeps, it may take you a few attempts to get the boot fragments unlocked.

Keep repairing the statues until you have the full recipe unlocked.

Now, you won’t be able to make Belegost Boots just anywhere.

You need to have the Khuzdul Forge unlocked or at least have access to the Great Forge of Belegost.

You can find the Great Forge of Belegost in the Lower Deeps.

You’ll also unlock the Khuzdul Forge after repairing the Great Forge of Belegost.

Once you have the correct forge, you’ll need the following resources to make the Belegost Boots:

  • 2 Shanor Ingots
  • 2 Leather
  • 1 Numenorean Cloth

Shanor Ingots you can find by killing orcs or taking over orc outposts and opening chests in the Lower Deeps.

You can also unlock its crafting recipe after repairing the Great Forge of Belegost.

Leather and Numenorean cloth you can make in the loom.

Once you have all the crafting resources you need, you can bring them to your Khuzdul Forge or the Great Forge of Belegost to craft your boots.

What Do Belegost Boots Do

They’re particularly geared toward combat instead of travel.

That means they might eat into your stamina a bit more when running around.

It’s better used when fighting a boss or defending your base.
