How Do You Unlock Belegost Gauntlets in Return to Moria

To unlock the recipe for the Belegost gauntlets, you’ll need to head down to the Lower Deeps.
Throughout the maze-like area, you’ll come across a number of broken statues.
It takes 20 stone and a steel hammer to repair them, and you’ll likely need to repair a few until the recipe for the Belegost gauntlets drops.
The good news is that you only need one recipe to drop.
Other Belegost armor types typically have two or three recipe fragments you need to find to unlock the full recipe.
With the gauntlets, you only need the recipe to drop once.
So, load yourself with some stone, and explore the Lower Deeps to find broken statues.
It may take a few tries, but before too long, you’ll have Belegost gauntlet recipe dropped.
How To Make Belegost Gauntlets in Return to Moria

Like the other types of Belegost armor, you’ll need an upgraded forge to craft the Belegost gauntlets.
The type of forge you need is the Khuzdul forge.
The recipe for this forge drops after you repair the Great Forge of Belegost.
You can also craft the gauntlets at the Great Forge of Belegost.
Because it can take a while to reach the Great Forge, you may be holding on to the recipe for a bit before you can actually craft the gauntlets.
Once you have the crafting station unlocked, however, you’ll need the following resources to make the gauntlets:
- 2 Shanor Ingots
- 1 Leather
- 2 Numenorean Cloth
Leather and Numenorean cloth you can make in the loom.
Neither of them require anything too fancy to make.
Shanor Ingots, however, are a bit more complicated.
You can sometimes get them from orcs who drop them during a siege or in chests at orc outposts that you discover in the Lower Deeps.
Once you repair the Great Forge of Belegost, you’ll also unlock the recipe to make Shanor Ingots.
After gathering your resources, head to your Khuzdul forge or the Great Forge of Belegost to craft your new Belegost gauntlets.
Why You Should Make Belegost Gauntlets in Return to Moria
Belegost gauntlets are part of the Belegost armor set.
If you want Tier III armor, then it makes sense to complete the set.
Since Belegost gauntlets count as Tier III armor, it will increase your armor rating overall.
That means your enemies will need to damage even more of your armor before finally starting to damage your health.
With enemies becoming tougher and having more damaging attacks, you’ll need the armor to help soak in the damage.
It can especially make certain boss fights a bit easier.
So, get to repairing statues and enjoy better protection with the Belegost gauntlets.
