There are tons of stats to pay attention to when deciding what Pals should work at your base.

Some of these skills can make them great workers, but others might hinder your base’s efficiency.

In this survival guide, we’ll look at the best and worst skills for working Pals in Palworld.

1. Logging Foreman

The Logging Foreman skill grants a 25% bonus to Players when logging themselves.

That makes Pals with this skill beneficial to have in your party.

When you’re out collecting wood, you can gain a bit more than you would normally.

This is helpful for beginner players who haven’t created the logging site yet, or for those who prefer to chop wood themselves.

2. Motivational Leader

Another great Pal to have in your party is one that has the Motivational Leader skill.

This skill boosts Player Work Speed by 25%.

So, whether you’re building or performing some sort of work activity, if this Pal is in your party, then you’re going to be more efficient at that job.

If you’re logging, then also having a Logging Foreman in your party will make you collect a lot of logs and quickly.

3. Work Slave

One of the best skills for working Pals to have is the Work Slave skill.

As its name might suggest, it makes Pals particularly good at working.

It gives a 30% work speed, which means your Pals with this skill are making things or doing things 30% faster.

Keep in mind, however, that it also gives the Pal a debuff.

They won’t be as good at attacking, so you’ll want to place some Pals into your base that can defend your work slaves.

Otherwise, you’ll notice greater productivity with Pals who have the work slave skill.

4. Lucky

The Lucky skill is an amazing skill for a working Pal to have.

You tend to get it from Lucky Pals, who are special variants that spawn in the world.

However, you can also breed a Pal with the Lucky skill, even if none of the parents were lucky.

So, there’s a chance that the skill can drop on any bred Pal.

The Lucky skill gives a 15% bonus to work speed, and it increases the Pal’s attack speed.

So, you won’t have the attack debuff with this skill that you’ll have with the work slave skill.

Lucky isn’t the most common skill, so if you have a Pal with it, then put them to work.

3 Worst Skills for Working Pals

While the above skills are great for Pals either in your party or at your base, there are some that can actually be problems.

You’ll want to double-check that your Pals don’t have these skills if you plan on deploying them.

1. Musclehead

At first, you might think that a skill called Musclehead would be a great benefit.

And in some capacity, it is.

The Musclehead skill gives a boost to attack, but it also gives a -50% work speed to the Pal.

That’s a substantial decrease in productivity.

These Pals may act as great defenders, but you don’t want them working in your base.

2. Slacker

Slacking off and working don’t go hand-in-hand.

That’s why if you find a Pal with a slacker skill in its list, you’ll want to get rid of it.

The slacker skill reduces work speed by 30%.

While it isn’t as devastating as the Musclehead skill, you’ll still be feeling that lack of 30% when the rest of your Pals are doing great.

Remove slackers and focus on getting productive Pals deployed at your base.

3. Clumsy

As someone who’s clumsy themselves, it makes sense that this particular skill would also impact work efficiency.

You’ll see a 10% work speed in any Pals that suffer from the clumsy skill.

They’re too busy tripping over themselves or fumbling with their hands to be productive.

Clumsy is the least worst of the worst skills to have, but even that 10% can slow you up.

Make the switch and keep your Pals’ efficiency tight to be the most productive.
