You have a lot of buildings that need people to work them.
It’s high time you started inviting villagers to your new village in Sengoku Dynasty, but you might be unsure of how to find and recruit villagers.
In this survival guide, we’ll show you how to get villagers in Sengoku Dynasty.
1. Reach Dynasty Legend 7 and Speak to the Abbot

The Open the Gates questline will eventually lead you to the abbot.
As long as you complete each step to the Open the Gates quest, and also help out the local villages, you’ll be able to receive permission from the abbot to start inviting people to your village.
You basically need a good reputation in the valley.
The only way to earn that reputation is by helping other villagers.
Perform quests and your Dynasty Legend will grow.
When you reach seven, it’s time to speak with the abbot.
You’ll find him in the monastery.
Speak with him, and he’ll give you his blessing to start inviting people to your village.
He even lets you start a second village.
With his blessing, it’s time to start searching for refugees.
2. Prepare for New Villagers

Before you start searching for a villager, it’s actually a good idea to build a home for them first.
You’ll need a home to assign them to, so it’s best that it’s ready to go from the start.
Otherwise, you won’t be able to assign them anywhere, and they may end up leaving if they’re homeless for too long.
Head back to your village and make them a home.
It can be a simple or standard home.
The advantage of the standard home is that you can eventually have a man and woman live together to encourage them to have children.
So, it’s a good idea to start building standard homes as soon as you can, so you don’t have to replace homes all over again in the future.
With a house built, it’s time to find a refugee.
3. Find Refugees Throughout the Valley

Refugees can spawn anywhere in the map.
I tend to find them along the coastline, near shrines, or by rivers.
You’ll know you’re close to one when you see the refugee symbol over their heads.
Approach them and talk to them.
You’ll have the opportunity to ask them why they decided to move to the valley.
They’ll give you a story, and then you should have the option of inviting them your village.
From there, you’ll need to assign them a house and a job.
Rinse and repeat until you have as many villagers as possible in your small village.
Things just got a little less quiet.
