How To Unlock the Viewing Cage in Palworld

The viewing cage isn’t available for unlocking until you reach Level 15.
If you’re not there yet, then keep catching Pals and fighting bosses to earn XP.
Once you have the level, you’ll need at least two Technology Points to unlock it with.
After it’s unlocked, you’re free to build it wherever you have space.
And you’re going to need space.
How To Craft the Viewing Cage in Palworld

As soon as you pull out the blueprint for the viewing cage, you’re going to notice one thing–it’s huge.
Since you only have so much space in which to build your base, you may want to build a vertical viewing gallery.
The good news is that the viewing cage isn’t too expensive when it comes to resources.
To craft the viewing cage, you’ll need the following:
- 10 Paldium Fragments
- 10 Wood
- 20 Stone
With enough resources, you can start to build the cage.
It takes 5 minutes to complete, but if you can get some help, the time will go down significantly.
What Does the Viewing Cage Do in Palworld

The main purpose of the viewing cage in Palworld is to display your Pals.
Any Pal you put into the cage will not need food.
They also won’t work or help you defend your base, so you don’t want to put your toughest Pals in here if you rely on them for fighting.
So long as your base stands, and no one attacks the cage, your Pals inside it are safe.
It’s basically a glorified display case.
You can fit tons of Pals inside it, too, but the space is actually quite small, so if you have a few larger Pals in it, they’ll take up a lot of room.
The Pals can get crowded, which isn’t as much fun to watch since they won’t be moving around as much.
If you want to make several viewing cages, you certainly can do so.
You’ll just want to build a vertical museum or zoo, so you don’t take up a lot of space.
The viewing cage is a great way to show off your favorite Pals without having to worry about their food.
