How Do You Unlock the Magic Small Chest in Enshrouded

To unlock the magic small chest in Enshrouded, you need to first unlock the small chest.

Enshrouded’s developers recently released the blueprint for the magic small chest.

If you’ve been playing the game, there’s a good chance that you have it unlocked already.

If you don’t, then you may need to proceed in the game a bit more.

One key moment is to awaken the blacksmith.

He unlocks a number of new recipes, including the small chest.

You may also need to pick up some resources like metal scraps, shroud spores, or shroud liquid.

Once you have the magic small chest unlocked, you can make it in the workbench.

How To Make a Magic Chest in Enshrouded

Access your workbench and scroll down to the “storage” section.

With the recipe unlocked, you should see an option to make a small magic chest, at the very least.

To make a small magic chest, you’ll need the following resources:

• 1 Small Chest
• 15 Shroud Spores
• 15 Shroud Liquid

The small chest you can make it in the workbench as well.

With it in your inventory, you just need shroud spores and liquid.

You can find both in Shrouded areas.

The spores drop from enemies you defeat.

The liquids you can easily collect from large, sphere-like, mushrooms in the Shroud.

You can also chop fungus trees in the Shroud to drop shroud liquid.

Once you have enough, return to your workbench and make the magic chest.

What Does the Magic Chest Do in Enshrouded

Universal storage is at your fingertips, at last.

Place down the magic chest where you want it, and then access it.

Anything you put into the chest, you can pull from any crafting station you access.

For example, if you put all your wood and metal scraps into the small magic chest, and then went to the workbench or blacksmith to craft something, the workstation would pull the resources from the chest instead of your inventory.

You no longer have to run back and forth to make sure you have all the resources you need to make something.

Which, considering I have the memory of a goldfish some times, I find extremely helpful.

Instead, as long as the items you need are in your magic chest, you can craft whatever you need.

There is one caveat, however.

The magic chest needs to be in your base.

Since you can’t really build or place anything down outside your flame altar’s protection anyway, this makes sense.

So, if you’re tired from running around like me, do yourself a favor and make some magic chests.
