The Belegost Halberd requires you to repair the Great Forge of Belegost to drop its recipe.

That’s no easy task either since you need to complete a few steps beforehand.

The first is to repair the Great Drain Pipes.

You discover that the Great Forge of Belegost is flooded and the only way to remove the water is to fix the Great Drain Pipes.

Once you fix the pipes, and that’s no easy task either, you can make your way back to the Great Forge of Belegost.

You’ll be able to enter it now that the water is gone.

There are a few parts missing, but luckily, their replacement parts are nearby.

Simply repair the Great Forge of Belegost and bring the forge to life.

Once it’s active, you’ll receive a recipe for the Belegost Halberd.

The Belegost Halberd can only be made in two types of forges.

The first is the Great Forge of Belegost, which is likely the first type of forge you’re going to be able to use.

The second crafting station you can use is the Khuzdul Forge, which gets unlocked deeper in the Lower Deeps.

Bring the following resources to your forge of choice to craft the Belegost Halberd:

  • 2 Shanor Ingots
  • 1 Amethyst
  • 4 Ubasam Wood
  • 1 Leather

Shanor ingots you can get from orcs after defeating them, and you can also make them in a furnace.

Check out this guide on how to make shanor ingots.

Amethysts also drop from defeated orcs, so you’ll need to do some orc hunting to gather enough.

Ubasam wood is found throughout the Lower Deeps, just chop down the mushroom trees.

Finally, leather you can make in a loom by combining hide with salt.

Once you have all the items, you can craft the Belegost Halberd in Return to Moria.

The Belegost Halberd is a two-handed Tier III weapon that deals slashing damage.

It combines both a two-handed axe and a spear, which means it deals a decent amount of damage to multiple enemies at once.

And that’s exactly what makes it useful.

It’s great for crowd control.

It’s charged attack even allows you to swing the halberd in a full circle, hitting all enemies in one swing.

There are several times in Return to Moria when you find yourself surrounded by orcs.

The Belegost Halberd can make quick work of them.

Craft one for yourself and see how you enjoy it.
