Zoe and Grizzbolt are one of the first Tower Leaders that Tamers will face in Palworld.

It’s not an easy fight, especially for beginners, so it’s worth knowing a few tips and strategies.

In this survival guide, we’ll show you how to defeat Zoe & Grizzbolt in Palworld.

Equipment matters when fighting Tower bosses in Palworld because they can make a difference.

I was able to defeat Zoe & Grizzbolt at level 17 wearing pelt armor with a Mega Shield.

I also used a crossbow with basic arrows, but I did bring tons of arrows into the fight with me.

The most important piece of gear that I recommend bringing with you is Daedream’s necklace.

It allows you to bring Daedreem into the fight with you as a second Pal.

They’ll fight when you do, so it’s a way to keep bringing down Grizzbolt’s health.

With those basics, it’s time to round up the party.

Pals To Use for the Grizzbolt & Zoe Boss Fight in Palworld

Grizzbolt is an Electric Type, which means you’ll want Ground Types to be the most effective against him.

Water Types will be the weakest against Grizzbolt, so don’t bring any into this fight.

Or, at the very least, don’t expect to throw them out and make them fight Grizzbolt.

If you’re a beginner, you can definitely defeat Grizzbolt with a decent-level Rushoar.

My Rushoar was a level 16 for the fight.

That said, it’s a good idea to start the fight while mounted on the rushoar.

They don’t always have the best aim, so you can help them out by steering them yourself.

Bring a few Rushoars and other ground types, like a Fuddler, to fill your party.

It’s also not a bad idea to have one Pal be your strongest, no matter if it’s a Ground type or not.

For example, I brought my strongest Foxsparks because I enjoy using its flamethrower skill.

Remember to make Daedream part of your party, so you can use them in the fight, too.

With your party assembled, it’s time to start the fight.

Best Strategies for Fighting Zoe & Grizzbolt in Palworld

Grizzbolt has some powerful moves, many of them ranged.

The good news is that there are plenty of pillars for you to take cover behind.

Start off mounted on your rushoar and start going to town.

Do your best to run or charge away from melee attacks.

While mounted, shoot at Zoe on the back of Grizzbolt with your ranged weapon.

You’ll do much more damage to her than to Grizzbolt, so you can make some pretty effective attacks by focusing on her.

At some point, you’ll want to dismount your rushoar and let it do its thing.

Keep an eye on Grizzbolt and call back your Pal any time it’s about to deliver a ranged attack your Pal can’t dodge.

Swap out your party as necessary to give your Pals a chance to heal while they wait their next turn.

Keep an eye on the time, too.

You only have 10 minutes to defeat Grizzbolt.

If you don’t finish, then you automatically lose.

That’s why I suggest bringing your strongest Pal with you, too.

If time is starting to run out, you may want to use your best Pal to try and take it down a bit to save time.

By keeping your attacks on Zoe while your Rushoar or Ground Pal focuses on Grizzbolt, you should be able to defeat them.

Non-Beginner Pal Party Members

Additionally, as you level and catch more Pals, you’ll eventually get better Pals, too.

Digtoise is a great mid-tier Pal to take on Grizzbolt.

The best though is Anubis.

My level 29 Anubis can take down Grizzbolt and Zoe without any assistance from me in just a few minutes.

So, if you can’t quite defeat Grizzbolt and Zoe with a Rushoar, just give it some time.

Level your Ground Pals, focus on getting harder hitters, and you’ll defeat them in no time.
