How Do You Unlock the Tiled Hearth in Return to Moria

You’ll need to do some mining to unlock the tiled hearth in Return to Moria.

Specifically, you’ll need a Tier III pickaxe to mine Ihraz Granite.

Ihraz Granite starts to spawn in large numbers once you reach the Lower Deeps.

It takes the place of stone that’s used with ore.

So, if you mine ore in the Lower Deeps, you’ll also mine Ihraz Granite.

Once you pick up a piece of granite, the recipe for the Tiled Hearth will drop.

How Do You Make the Tiled Hearth in Return to Moria

The Tiled Hearth recipe doesn’t require a lot of rare resources, but it may need a handful of resources that you don’t mine normally.

Ihraz Granite can easily be mined when you’re mining ore.

You’ll likely end up with tons of it.

Resin is a bit rarer, but you can find it throughout the Lower Deeps.

Just look for a bright orange ore, and you’ve found your resin.

Ubasam wood can be a pain to harvest in large numbers, just because it drops in small amounts.

You’ll be able to chop it from mushroom trees that grow in the Lower Deeps.

Once you have enough resources, pull up the build menu and craft the Tiled Hearth.

What Does the Tiled Hearth Unlock

Once you put down the tiled hearth, you’ll notice a number of new recipe end up unlocked.

These include recipes for the:

• Bed
• Weapon Rack
• Wall Display
• Armor Stand

Besides unlocking these new recipes, the Tiled Hearth can also cook more cooking recipes than the low-level hearths.

It also increases the size of your base, so you can make even larger bases.

The tiled hearth is a useful structure to have, so make sure you build it when you can.
