How To Unlock the Beverage Storage in Sengoku Dynasty
Beverage storage is unlocked once you complete some of the main quests in the game’s story.
The good news is that your villagers won’t need beverages for some time.
Beverages becomes a need after you speak to the abbot at the monastery and receive the ability to make a new village.
You’ll want to make beverage storage either right after that visit or before you change the season to ensure your villagers remain happy.
How To Build Beverage Storage

The beverage storage building isn’t too expensive, but it will require a great deal of straw.
The total amount of resources you’ll need is as follows:
- 15 Logs
- 16 Planks (Any Type)
- 31 Sticks
- 16 Planks (Conifer)
- 6 Stones
- 42 Straw
The complete building breakdown runs thus:
- Foundation:

- 26 Straw
- Furniture:

The building isn’t that big, so you should be able to squeeze it into most areas.
The crafting resource you’ll need the most is straw.
You can make straw by picking grass and changing it into straw through the Quick-Craft menu.
Although the beverage storage building starts out with two barrels where you can store drinks, you can always add more.
What Does the Beverage Storage Building Do in Sengoku Dynasty

As its name might suggest, the beverage storage building is where you’re going to store all your beverages.
That includes items like sake and water.
The building has two main uses.
The first is to store beverages for your villagers.
Like food, beverages can determine villager happiness.
If they don’t have enough to drink, they’ll become unhappy.
If they become too unhappy, then they’ll leave your village.
The other utility that the beverage storage building in Sengoku Dynasty has is that villagers pull resources from it.
To make sake, for example, a villager assigned to the workstation will take any water placed in the beverage storage building.
If there isn’t any water there, then the villager can’t work.
So, you’ll need to check that the storage building has everything it needs to keep villagers happy and productive.
Build your beverage storage building sooner rather than later just to ensure everything is ready to go once your villagers start requiring beverages.
