To craft Ironheart Stout, you’ll need the Brew Kettle.

It requires the Alchemical Still upgrade, so make sure you have that ready to go, too.

You’ll need the following resources to brew Ironheart Stout:

  • 20 Khuzdul Oat
  • 2 Chitin
  • 1 Scale

Khuzdul Oat can be easily found growing throughout the mines.

You can also farm it yourself.

You’ll also need chitin, which you can harvest from moths in the Lower Deeps.

Scales are harder to harvest.

You’ll need to take on a drake and defeat it.

It will drop a scale after it’s dead.

Once you have everything you need, you can make the stout in the kettle.

It’s a long brew, however, so you’ll want to make sure you have plenty of time to give to it before you need it.

What Does Ironheart Stout Do in Return to Moria

The Ironheart Stout gives you a damage resistance buff.

Basically, it makes it so that you take less damage in a given time.

It also gives you a High Spirits buff, which means if you go to sleep while you still have the status effect, you’ll wake up with a random buff.

You might find a very helpful buff has applied itself for a specific activity you plan on doing.

Either way, you’ll find it a bit easier to survive some fights.
