The fisherman’s hut isn’t a terribly expensive build.

For beginners, it may even be worth making the fisherman’s hut before the hunter’s hut since it requires fewer resources.

Here’s a total breakdown of the build for the fisherman’s hut:

• Foundation:
  • 10 Logs (Any Type)
• Floor:
  • 10 Planks (Any Type)
• Exterior:
  • 16 Planks (Conifer)
  • 28 Sticks
  • 9 Planks (Any Type)
• Roof:
  • 4 Stones
  • 6 Sticks
  • 2 Logs (Any Type)
  • 8 Planks (Any Type)
• Furniture:
  • 5 Bamboo

After hammering all those resources into place, you’re ready to start assigning work.

What Does the Fisherman’s Hut Do in Sengoku Dynasty

The fisherman’s does a lot more than just catching fish.

It provides two jobs.

One is a fisherman who is able to catch the following for your village:

• Fish
• Pearl
• Seashells

You’ll need fishing nets for them to catch fish.

The good news is that the other job at the hut is a net maker.

You can assign someone to make the nets provided you have the resources they need in stock.

You can also make the nets yourself.

The net maker will make a certain number of nets per your available resources.

When you have the net you need, you put the net in the general storage building.

The villager will grab the net when it’s time to fish.

Fish is obviously used for food.

Pearls and shells, however, can be great items to sell, especially starting off.

So even if you have enough food coming in, it’s worth having a fisherman’s hut so you can have an easy way to make some early-game money with ease in Sengoku Dynasty.
