One of the most important Pals in your base are those capable of doing handiwork.

They’re the ones making all your items and helping you build structures.

In this survival guide, we’ll tell you how to make handiwork Pals more efficient in Palworld.

What is the Handiwork Work Skill

Handiwork is the work skill that refers to Pals crafting items or building items.

When you need a Pal to make medicine in a workbench, for example, their handiwork skill determines how quickly they can get the job done.

If the Pal doesn’t have the handiwork skill, then they can’t craft items.

They’re also responsible for building.

When you have a structure that needs to be built, the Pals with the handiwork skill will come and help you build it.

The better their handiwork skill is, the faster they can build the structure.

Making your Pals more efficient can help them craft and build things faster.

There are two methods you can use to make your Handiwork Pals more efficient.

The first is to make a large toolbox.

The toolbox is a structure that improves the efficiency of Handiworking Pals.

All you need to do is build it and place it somewhere within your base.

To make the large toolbox, you need to be level 19 and unlock it with 2 technology points.

It also requires the following crafting resources:

  • 100 Wood
  • 40 Ingots
  • 15 Nails

Merely putting down the toolbox alone will make your Pals work faster.

The other way to improve efficiency is to make sure you’re using the best Pals possible.

Level 1 Handiwork Pals won’t be that fast.

The best Pal to have for handiwork is Anubis.

He has Level 4 in Handiwork and also just moves fast in general.

If you can’t quite get Anubis yet, then Level 3 Handiwork Pals can also get the job done.

These Pals include:

  • Lunaris
  • Wixen
  • Verdash
  • Lyleen

For beginners, you’ll want to focus on getting a Level 2 Handiwork Pal as soon as possible.

I recommend Incineram, myself, since it moves fast and does a pretty decent job of making items.

Level yourself up and focus on getting high-tier Pals with excellent Handiwork levels to have them working efficiently.
