There has never been quite so much of a headache as the night vision goggles in Sons of the Forest.

Throughout the various updates, the spawn location for the goggles has moved around.

In this survival guide, we’ll show you where to find the night vision goggles in Sons of the Forest in its latest, 1.0. update.

Where To Find the Night Vision Goggles

You’ll need to head to the southwest part of the map to find the night vision goggles.

You’re looking for an encampment that sits close to two small ponds and a path.

The spot is pretty easy to find since it’s marked by a blue question mark symbol.

It’s a GPS tracker on a soldier that you can pick up if you wish to use the marker for other purposes.

You’ll come across a campsite of soldiers with four big tents.

The tents contain a number of resources, ammo, and even a Document lore piece.

In one of the tents, you’ll find the night vision goggles beside a dead soldier.

Pick them up and add them to your collection.

The tent also has a number of ammo pieces, so pick up what you need here, too.

The night vision goggles still use batteries to keep them powered, and you’ll need to change out those batteries as they die.
