You’ll find the recipe for the teleport altar in the same area where you can find the night vision goggles.
And if you haven’t found the latest location for the goggles yet, be sure to check out our night vision goggles guide here.
You’ll notice a cave in the middle of the camp.
Take the rope down and head to the right passage.
Eventually, you’ll come across a dead end where you can find the recipe.
How To Build the Teleport Altar

To build the teleport altar, you’ll need the following resources:
- 8 Skulls
- 33 Stones
- 50 Bones
This is a placeable blueprint, so you’ll need to put it where you want it, then fill it with the resources.
How Does the Teleport Altar Work in Sons of the Forest
To get teleporting around the map, you’ll first need to find all the pieces for the artifact.
Once you have all the pieces, you need to have at least one solafite inside it.
Then interact with the artifact and you can choose to teleport back to the altar.
No matter where you are on the map, even in caves, you can just click the artifact and end up at your altar.
If you build it at your base, for example, you’re now able to immediately make it back home.
