If you have big dreams of breeding the strongest Pals on the islands, you’re going to need honey.
Honey isn’t a very common resource, however, so you’ll need to do a bit of work to get your hands on it.
In this survival guide, we’ll show you how to get honey in Palworld.
Where To Get Honey in Palworld

There are two Pals that drop honey in Palworld.
The easiest is Cinnamoth, although I say that lightly.
Cinnamoths spawn around level 20, so you’ll want to be at least level 20 to take them on.
The biggest problem with them is that they’re often in packs.
Once you attack one, you end up facing everyone.
That said, if you can defeat or capture one, Cinnamoth will drop some honey.
The harder Pal is Beegarde.
Beegarde has the added advantage, however, of being able to drop honey when assigned to a ranch.
So, you’ll want to do your best to capture a Beegarde and add it to your ranch for a honey farm.
One tip that makes fighting Beegarde easy, in the event that you just want to get honey from their corpses, is to aggro them.
They have a self-destruct attack, which means they’ll end up blowing themselves up.
If you can send a Pal after them, get them to start beeping, and then recall your Pal at the last second, you can easily farm honey from a bunch of dead Beegarde, too.
Otherwise, put one in a ranch and farm honey passively.
Why Do You Need Honey in Palworld

Honey is vital for one cooking recipe.
Cake.
Cake is important in Palworld because it allows you to breed Pals.
You can get access to some powerful Pals pretty early in the game if you can get your hands on the correct breeding partners.
You can also make Pals stronger by breeding them for certain skills.
But if you don’t have cake, you won’t be doing any breeding.
So, you need honey.
