How To Unlock the Brew Tank in Return to Moria
To get your hands on the massive brew tank, you’ll need to first pick up a piece of adamant.
Adamant is the by-product when mining ores in Dwarrowdelf.
So, if you mine some gold ore or iron ore or any type of ore in Dwarrowdelf, you’ll get adamant instead of ihraz granite or stone.
The first time you pick up adamant, you’ll get the recipe for the brew tank.
If you don’t know how to get adamant or where to find, check out our adamant guide here.

To build the brew tank, you’ll need the following resources:
- 10 Khazad Steel Ingots
- 30 Ironwood
- 20 Adamant
Khazad Steel Ingots you can find throughout Dwarrowdelf by killing orcs or unlocking their chests.
Ironwood is a rare resource, but you can harvest it after enchanting your axe with a particular rune.
Adamant is easy to find in Dwarrowdelf, but you’ll need a Tier IV pickaxe to get it.
Once you have enough resources, you’ll be able to make the brew tank.
Keep in mind that it’s quite large, so you may need to figure out where to put it first.
What Does the Brew Tank Do in Return to Moria

The brew tank is basically a bigger version of the brew kettle.
You can brew drinks in it, but it makes more of them.
Instead of 80 mugs, like the brew kettle, the brew tank will make 240 mugs.
That’s a ton of ale for a single player or someone with a full team of dwarves.
Keep in mind that the recipes for the ales are different.
You’ll basically need more resources than you would if you were brewing them in the kettle.
As such, the brew tank is a great structure for those who tend to make a specific brew a lot.
