The glider launcher allows you to use the glider even if you’re on lower ground.

It’s a lot of fun and definitely something everyone should have in their base or throughout the map.

In this survival guide, we’ll show you where to get the glider launcher in Sons of the Forest.

Where To Find the Glider Launcher Blueprint in Sons of the Forest

To get your hands on the glider launcher blueprint location, you’ll need to head toward the 3D printer room.

There’s a river that cuts from the ocean into the island.

A little south of the river you’ll find a group of construction workers dead and huddled up near an entrance to a cave.

One of them should have an orange GPS marker on them, making the location of this cave easy to find.

You’ll need to cut through some boards to enter the cave.

Don’t worry though, this isn’t a typical cave filled with mutants.

You’ll have a good amount of gore awaiting you though, so tread through until you get to the very back of the cave.

Once there, you’ll see some skeletons on the ground.

In front of them is the blueprint for the glider launcher.

How To Build the Glider Launcher in Sons of the Forest

To build the glider launcher, you’ll need the following resources:

4 Wires
14 Sticks
7 Logs
4 Turtle Shells
12 Planks

You can place the launcher anywhere on flat ground.

I put mine just off a cliff edge near my base.

What Does the Glider Launcher Do in Sons of the Forest

The launcher is basically a dock with some turtle shells tied at the end of it.

With your glider equipped, step onto the shells, and they’ll launch you very high in the air.

Make sure you have your glider ready before you step on the shells because they’ll launch you whether you have the glider equipped or not.

The fall will definitely kill or seriously injure you.

Otherwise, if used properly, the launcher gives you tons of airtime, allowing you to soar across the island without needing to go all the way up a mountain to do so.

It makes traveling the island a lot more fun.
