One of the most adorable Pals you’ll encounter first is Foxsparks.
This cute fox-like Pal has quite a trick up its sleeve for those who use its Partner Skill.
In this survival guide, we’ll go over everything you need to know about Foxsparks.
The Quick Menu
Take a quick look at some of Foxspark’s stats.

Foxspark’s Work Skills

Foxsparks has only one work skill, which means they’re very good at doing one thing.
They have a level 1 in Kindling.
That means this Pal is going to be your beginner cook and smelter.
Because its only level 1, you’ll likely replace Foxsparks before too long, but for beginners, it’s a great starter Pal.
Foxsparks Drops

When you defeat or capture a Foxsparks, it has the chance of dropping two items.
Those include leather and flame organ.
Leather is a necessary resource for making armor and other items.
Flame organ is a common resource needed for many structures.
Because it’s in demand, hunting Foxsparks down isn’t a bad idea.
As you become stronger, it will be easy to farm Foxsparks to get all the flame organs you need.
Foxsparks’ Partner Skill

One of the best things about Foxsparks is its Partner Skill.
It has a skill called Huggy Fire, which allows you to use Foxsparks like a flamethrower.
You’ll need to make its harness first, but once you do, you can just flamethrow all your enemies
I love using a Foxsparks against the boss, Chillet, because its Partner Skill can take it down alone.
Foxsparks’ Partner Skill makes it a great offensive Pal to have early in the game.
What is Foxsparks Best Used For
Because of its minimal work skills and incredible Partner Skill, Foxsparks is an ideal starter Pal for exploration.
They can cook food at home, but they’re best used out in the wild with you.
Their fire attacks do well against two types of enemies, making them very useful early on.
Their Partner Skill also makes it easier to take down certain bosses and Pals, unlocking the potential to get more advanced Pals earlier in the game.
Foxsparks is a great starter Pal, especially when with you exploring the islands.
