For one, you can use it to quickly transport yourself along the rope.

Then make sure you have a zipline anchor in your inventory.

The gun will automatically reload the anchors, but if you don’t have any in your inventory, then it won’t be able to do much.

Once you’ve equipped the rope gun, you’re going to see a grey dot appear.

Once the grey dot is on an area where you want one end of the zipline, press the left-click button.

The gun will one of the anchors into that spot.

The range on the gun is quite impressive, so you can make pretty long ziplines.

Hover the grey dot where you want the other end of the zipline, then click again.

This will form the complete zipline.

If you don’t want to put an anchor somewhere but have already embedded it, then you can right-click the anchor.

It won’t use the anchor up.

However, if you already formed the zipline, then you need to get near the line until you see a trash bin symbol.

Hold the button that the prompt suggests, and it will remove the line.

You will not get back your anchor with this way, so make sure you don’t complete the zipline unless you’re happy with it.
