To get your hands on the wetsuit in Sons of the Forest, you’re going to need to head to the shovel cave.

You can find the shovel cave at the center of the map and just to the west of the snowy mountains.

You’ll know you’re in the right area if you find a cave that’s just off a few, small, streams.

It’s also south of a large river.

The biggest identifier is the three bodies impaled just before the cave entrance.

Once you’ve found the right cave, hit the wooden planks with your axe, and then enter.

What You Need for the Shovel Cave in Sons of the Forest

In order to advance through the shovel cave, you’re going to need a few tools and resources.

The first thing you’ll need is the rope gun.

You can’t advance into the cave without it.

Besides those tools, you’ll also need some weapons.

There’s a part of the cave full of Puffies that you’ll need to fight through in order to get the wetsuit.

With those items in hand, you’re ready to enter the cave.

Where To Find the Wetsuit

To find the wetsuit, you’re going to need to dive down into some water.

When you first enter the cave, you’re going to need to take the rope gun across the gulf and to the other side.

You’ll notice some water.

Dive down into the hole and follow the path to the surface.

When you surface, you’re going to see a narrow passage before you.

This area is full of Puffies.

You can either shoot them, fight them, or blow them up to clear the area.

You can also work backwards when they try to attack you and have them drown in the water behind you.

It takes longer, but it can save you ammo.

You don’t want to proceed too far down the passage as you might miss the wetsuit and end up sliding down the slide and into the next area of the cave.

You won’t be able to climb back up once you go down the slide.

Once the enemies are dead, stick to the right wall of the passage.

Look for an air tank, and you’ll find the wetsuit right next to it.

It’s easy to miss in the dark, so take your time.

Once you pick it up, you can take a look at it in your inventory.

Its stats will show you that it provides great protection against moisture.

Its primary ability, however, is that it makes you faster when you’re in water.

However, it also makes you slower when wearing it on land.

So, make sure you equip and unequip it as needed.
