Winter can sometimes feel like a wasted season in Medieval Dynasty.

However, it provides a great opportunity to get some extra things done and catch up on areas where you may be lacking.

In this survival guide, we’ll go over five things to do during winter in Medieval Dynasty.

To hear about these things in greater detail, be sure to watch the video below!

Buildings are always falling apart in Medieval Dynasty.

The winter season is a great time to repair those buildings since you usually have a bit of extra time.

You might even have excess resources laying about to repair those buildings with ease.

Along with repairing buildings, it’s a great time to insulate them.

Have your workers put aside some limestone, and then use the winter season to insulate the homes in your village.

Insulation increases villager mood, so by Spring, they’ll be a lot happier and producing more for you.

Winter in Medieval Dynasty is also a great time to finish off quests.

There are several different types of quests in the game.

Chapter Quests allow you to progress your village which increases how many buildings you can build in your village, as well as, how many villagers can join your village.

The Main Quest concerns the main character and his connection to his Uncle.

The Main Quest spans a few years, so doing them during winter can ensure you always have something to do for some time.

There are also NPC quests that give you small requests like making an item or hunting down wolves.

While performing these quests can help kill time, they also improve your diplomacy skill.

Diplomacy is helpful because it can help you sell at higher prices and buy at lower prices.

It also offers other persuasion skills that can impact villager mood.

Quests also increase Dynasty Reputation.

You need high Dynasty Reputation to invite villagers to your village.

They also impact your relationship with the King and how many taxes you owe.

Mining is a great activity to do during the winter.

It may well be worth going to each mine, or as many as you can, during the winter season.

You’ll have tons of ore that you can easily eat through for the rest of the year.

You may not even need to go to the mine again until next winter.

Since mining can take time, the winter season in Medieval Dynasty is the best time for it since you’re likely not doing too much else.

Your farmers don’t do too much work in the winter, so it’s always a good idea to find a way to put them to use.

One of those ways is to prepare new fields that you want to plant later in the year.

Even if the crop you want to plant isn’t ready until autumn, that field will be ready for it way before then.

Farmers will prepare fields in winter, but they won’t plant any crop except carrots.

As such, it’s a great way to fertilize and prepare all your fields for the next planting seasons.

If you’re really out of things to do in winter in Medieval Dynasty, then you can take the time to decorate your village.

There are actual decorations you can craft inside the homes of your villages.

You can also drop items around to use as scatter decoration.

If you’re really invested, then you can tear down buildings and relocate them to new areas.

Have fun planning and designing and decorating your village to make it look its prettiest.
