Medieval Dynasty isn’t always clear on what its icons and terms mean.

You may have noticed Demand/1D in your Management tab when looking at your food, water, and firewood information and wondered what it meant.

In this survival guide, we’ll explain what Demand/1D means in Medieval Dynasty and how you can use it to become more efficient.

For a visual and audible explanation, be sure to watch the video!

Demand/1D shows you how much of a resource you have in your supply and how much the village uses each day.

In Medieval Dynasty, you’ll see a section written as–Food: Demand/1D.

And beneath that will be–342436 (3423).

It looks like the following photo.

The number on the left is what your village has in its stock.

It’s your supply.

The number to the right, in parenthesis, is how much your village uses each day.

If the number in the parenthesis is bigger than the number on the left, then it means you have a deficit.

Your villagers are using more than what you’re producing.

So, the Demand/1D stat is a quick way to see how your village is doing.

While the Demand/1D is useful for a quick glance at information about your village, it’s also useful for determining whether you’re producing too much.

In my village, I have far more food and firewood than I need.

I could use that information to scale back and focus my villagers on producing other things.

This helps me become more efficient because I can keep the supply closer to demand and use my workers to produce other things that might earn the village more money.

Check out your Demand/1D numbers and see how you’re doing in regards to meeting the needs of your villagers.
