Catching Pals is what Palworld is all about, but it can be frustrating when you really want a Pal, but your Spheres keep failing you.

The good news is there are different methods you can use to improve your catch rate.

In this survival guide, we’ll show you three methods to improve your catch rate in Palworld.

1. Craft Better Spheres

Starting off in Palworld, you’re able to use Pal Spheres.

This is the most basic type of Sphere in the game.

Spheres are what you use to capture Pals, and they come in a variety of strengths.

Since they’re the most basic, you can find Pal Spheres that spawn throughout the map.

They’re ideal for starter Pals, but they won’t be much of help against stronger Pals.

In this case, it’s time to level up the type of Spheres you’re using.

Take a look below at the different Spheres you can use in Palworld:

  • Pal Sphere (Level 2)
  • Mega (Level 14)
  • Giga (Level 20)
  • Hyper (Level 27)
  • Ultra (Level 35)
  • Legendary (Level 44)

You’ll need to reach the listed levels above to unlock the Spheres, although you can sometimes find high-tier Spheres in chests.

The more powerful the Sphere is, the more likely it is you’ll be able to catch a Pal.

2. Damage Pals with Better Weapons

As you level up in Palworld, you’re able to gain access to better weapons and tools.

Using some of these weapons and tools can help bring down the health of certain Pals faster.

The faster you can bring them down, the better since it decreases the odds of you dying in the process.

Some great weapons to use are items like electric and ice mines.

They can stun or freeze the Pal in place when they step on the mine.

Since they’re unable to move, it increases the chances of catching them.

You can also use weapons like the stun baton or three-shot bow to bring their health down faster and attempt to capture them.

By using the right tools with the right strategies, you can improve your catch rate in Palworld.

3. Upgrade Your Capture Power via Statues of Power

The final method you can use to improve your catch rate in Palworld is to level up your capture power in a statue of power.

A statue of power is a structure you can build when you reach level six.

You’re able to level yourself up as well as your Pals.

When it comes to you, you’re able to improve your capture rate, but you’ll need a certain type of currency to do so.

The statue accepts Lifmunk effigies in exchange for improving your Capture Power.

You can find Lifmunk effigies throughout the map.

They’re a glowing green orb that are easy to spot at night.

They’re often in the most random of places, so you’ll need to keep your eye out for them as you explore.

By using these methods together, you’ll be catching all the Pals in Palworld in no time.
